Mahesh bhatt shocked by PI's behaviour towards Bhat's wife
Film maker Mahesh Bhatt was shocked by the casual and reluctant attitude of the police inspector recording Sanjiv Bhatt's wife's statement.
Mahesh Bhatt was surprised to see the behaviour of a police inspector in front of the wife of an IPS officer. This incident took place in the house of Sanjiv Bhatt, where Ghatlodia police inspector KC Rathod was recording the statement of Sanjiv’s wife Shweta with the help of his writer. Rathod was sitting lazily and seemed to be doing his job reluctantly.
The filmmaker, who visited Sanjiv Bhatt’s family on Wednesday evening, witnessed the drama at the suspended IPS officer’s residence. Talking to DNA, Shweta said that the inspector of Ghatlodia police station seemed reluctant to record her statement after KP Devda was nabbed spying on her family.
“Rathod even refused to give a copy of my statement recorded by him, but gave it only after repeated requests,” Shweta said. The PI, who was sitting in a manner not befitting his official position, made many people, including Mahesh Bhatt and Shweta, uncomfortable in the hall. Rathod was recording Shweta’s statement in the presence of PI, HM Kundalia, Bhatt’s advocate IH Saiyad as well as Mahesh Bhatt.
