Maharashtra SSC results declared; girls outshine boys with pass percentage of 92.94%

The 10th standard SSC examination held in Maharashtra in March this year has registered an overall pass percentage of 91.46, with girls having an edge over boys in the results announced on Monday.

An estimated 17.32 lakh students appeared for the examination in which out of nine regional divisions of the Maharashtra Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Konkan topped the list with passing percentage of 96.54 with Latur division being at bottom at 86.38%.

Girls outnumbered boys with a passing percentage of 92.94%.

Following are the division wise results: Konkan 96.54%, Pune 95.10%, Nagpur 87.01%, Aurangabad 90.57%, Mumbai 92.90, Kolhapur 95.12%, Amrawati 86.84%, Nasik: 92.16%, Latur: 86.38%.

Students will get transcripts of their results at 3 pm on June 15. The transcripts will be available at their schools. Students who wish to get their marks re-checked can contact the relevant departments on June 25 with their application and a photocopy of their marksheet. Students cannot apply for rechecking of marks with the photocopy of the marks that are shown on the website.

Students can obtain a photocopy of their answer-sheet by applying with the board between June 8 to June 29.
