Asking people to put faith in Shivraj Singh Chouhan for the fourth time, the BJP released its election manifesto 'Drishti Patra' with a promise to give 10 lakh new jobs per year for the next five years.

Releasing the manifesto in Bhopal, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley stressed on the consistent increase in the state's growth rate in the last 5 years. "The BJP government has changed the agenda of politics and governance in Madhya Pradesh... The agenda is now to improve the standard of living," said Jaitley.

However, in terms of offering sops BJP's 71-page manifesto falls a shade lower than Congress' 112-page exhaustive Vachan Patra.

BJP's manifesto promises travel facilities to girl students to and from schools with a scooty for every girl who scores over 75 per cent in her Class 12 exams.

The BJP also promised to build the Narmada Expressway and Chamba Expressway. Shivraj Singh Chouhan said the cities of Gwalior and Jabalpur will get a metro if the party comes to power.

Trying to make an angry farm lobby happy, Chouhan said the party will give a bonus of Rs 265 directly into the bank account of every farmer with up to 5 acres of land and ensure irrigation to every farm.
