Lucknow: Flight operations halted after fire breaks out near runway
The air traffic has been resumed.
Flight operations were briefly halted when a small fire broke out near Lucknow Airport's runway on Saturday.
The dry grass on the side of the tarmac caught fire when crackers were used to scare away the birds.
After spotting the fire, the airport authorities were quick to respond as they immediately suspended flights and rushed fire tenders to contain the flames. The air traffic has now been resumed.
