Curtains came down on Friday evening for the high-octave electoral campaign for 59 Lok Sabha constituencies in 7 states going to polls in the 6th phase of Lok Sabha polls on May 12.

Delhi is witnessing a three-way contest between BJP, Congress and AAP. In fray are Union Minister Harsh Vardhan, former CM Sheila Dikshit, cricketer-turned -politician Gautam Gambhir and Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari.

All 10 Lok Sabha seats of Haryana are going to polls in this phase. Union Ministers Rao Inderjit Singh and Krishan Pal Gurjar are seeking re-election from Gurgaon and Faridabad seats respectively.

In Hisar, Brijendra Singh, son of Union Minister Birender Singh, is in fray against Congress' Bhavya Bishnoi, grandson of ex-CM Bhajan Lal. Both are political greenhorns. Sitting MP Dushyant Chautala is contesting from his newly floated Jannayak Janata Party. The JJP has an alliance with Kejriwal's AAP. While JJP is contesting in 7 seats, AAP is contesting in 3 seats. The JJP was born out of feud in Chautala family.

Former CM Bhupinder Hooda has entered the fray from Sonipat, while Union minister Kumari Selja and state Congress chief Ashok Tanwar are fighting from Ambala and Sirsa respectively.

Eight LS seats in Madhya Pradesh, including the politically-significant Bhopal, Vidisha, Guna and Morena, will vote in this phase. Bhopal is witnessing a high-pitched battle between Congress' Digvijay Singh and BJP's Pragya Singh Thakur.

In Guna, Congress general secretary Jyotiraditya Scindia is the party's candidate who is locking horns with KP Yadav of the BJP.

Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar is in fray from Morena, fighting Congress's Ram Niwas Rawat.

Uttar Pradesh's 14 Lok Sabha seats going to polls include politically significant Azamgarh and Sultanpur.

BJP has fielded Union Minister Maneka Gandhi in Sultanpur, who is contesting Congress's Sanjay Singh.

SP chief Akhilesh Yadav is trying to retain his father's citadel of Azamgarh against Bhojpuri film star Dinesh Lal Yadav, fighting on BJP ticket.

Eight LS seats in Bihar, including Purvi Champaran, Siwan, Pashchim Champaran, Sheohar, Gopalganj, are going to polls this phase.

The eight LS seats of West Bengal are seeing a four-cornered contest between TMC, BJP, Congress and the Left.
