Union Minister of state for Tribal Affairs and BJP candidate Sudarshan Bhagat defeated his Congress rival Sukhdeo Bhagat by 10,363 votes to retain the Lohardaga (ST) seat.

Lohardaga Lok Sabha constituency profile

Lohardaga Lok Sabha constituency consists of five assembly segments which are Mandar (ST), Gumla (ST), Lohardaga (ST), Sisai (ST) and Bishnupur (ST).

BJP's Sudarshan Bhagat was the sitting MP who defeated Congress' Rameshwar Oraon by a margin of more than 6,000 votes in 2014.
