The CPI-M leader said he has written a letter to Modi seeking an appointment for meeting a Left Front delegation on the multi-crore chit-fund scam. "I want to remind him that before the elections, the PM had said he would take action against all those involved but I am now sad to say that six months have passed since the government came into power but the main culprits are yet to be arrested," he told reporters.

Stating that the entire investigation is being done by Central government agencies like the CBI and Enforcement Directorate, he said the onus is on the Centre to arrest all culprits and bring back money to duped investors.

Mishra also said the investigating agencies must also trace how money from the chit-fund scam went to those involved in the Burdwan blast.
