Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Friday took to Twitter to warn Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) warning them to not threaten him. 

"Listen, BJP/RSS people, Lalu will drag you off your seat in Delhi, whatever be my situation. Get it straight..Don't u dare to threaten me..," he said.

Earlier speaking to ANI, he also said reiterated his call to leaders of similar ideologies for the rally in Gandhi Maidan on August 27. "Future course of action will be decided in the rally," he added.

This comes just a day after NDA delegation met Bihar Governor Ramnath Kovind over the attack on the BJP office by RJD workers on Wednesday in the wake of Income Tax raids in connection with alleged benami property deals involving Prasad. The delegation consisted of senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi, state BJP chief Nityanand Rai, Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Prem Kumar, Nand Kishore Yadav, Hindustani Awam Morcha general secretary Anil Kumar, LJP's MLA Rajeev Tiwari and Satyanand Dangi of the Rashtriya Lok Samata Party.

On Thursday, BJP workers also took out a protest march and burnt an effigy of Lalu Prasad and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Clashes were also reported between BJP, RJD workers in Patna on Wednesday.

The Income Tax department conducted raids at 22 locations in Delhi linked to Lalu Prasad Yadav. The raids were reportedly conducted on charges of illegal (benami) land deals worth Rs. 1,000 crores.

Lalu Yadav is already under scanner in connection with mid- 1990s fodder scam case.
