Lalu received an enthusiastic reception at Patna's Jai Prakash Narayan International Airport where his family members, party leaders and supporters
Former Bihar Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) President Lalu Prasad Yadav reached Patna on Wednesday evening, on a six-week provisional bail granted to him by Jharkhand High Court for his medical treatment.
Lalu received an enthusiastic reception at Patna's Jai Prakash Narayan International Airport where his family members, party leaders and supporters were present to greet him and take him home, yet again. He was accompanied by RJD MLA Bhola Yadav on his flight back from Ranchi.
Lalu, however, did not talk to his supporters, as his bail terms do not allow him to take part in any political activity, make any political statement or even talk to the media. He is also barred from going abroad during his bail tenure. An RJD source said Lalu was likely to head to Mumbai for his initial treatment. "We have six-weeks and specialist doctors will be consulted to decide his course of treatment," he said.
