Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is now looking at a new controversy, this time involving its leader Kumar Vishwas. A molestation case has been lodged against him by a woman in Delhi police station, reports the India Today.

Earlier in May, the poet and his wife were summoned by Delhi Commission for Women after a party volunteer approached it claiming that "false rumours" of his having illicit relationship with her were ruining her reputation and that he should come forward to clarify.

The proceedings of the previous case against the AAP leader was closed by the Delhi Commission for Women(DCW) on Friday. The DCW has handed over the matter to the police to probe and take 'action as per law', the Delhi High Court was informed on Friday. 

AAP recently found itself in trouble after its member and former Delhi Law Minister created a flutter by saying that "beautiful women" would be able to go out at midnight provided AAP government takes over policing system in the national capital. "I am fully confident that if Delhi government is given full freedom (over security), beautiful women will be able to go out even after midnight without any fear," he had said.
