If you are a street food lover, specially 'pani puri' brings water in your mouth, then this news is surely going to bother you and you may lose your appetite for having them again.

A street vendor in Kolhapur was caught on camera, selling toilet water mixed 'pani puri'. For people of Kolhapur this is one of the most popular joints for having 'pani puri'.

The food cart is usually found near Kolhapur's Rankala lake. His cart is named 'Mumbai ke Special Pani Puri wala'.

The place attracts lots of customers with people queing up to taste the pani puris. The cart is mostly overcrowded with people, as reported.

However the video of the vendor filing a can with toilet water and then mixing it in 'pani puri' water surfaced, people became really angry.

In a fit of rage they gathered in large numbers and attacked his cart and destroyed everything. They then threw all the pani puris on the road and even destroyed the food cart.

Similar incidents

Another similar incident was reported in Maharashtra where a pani-puri vendor was caught urinating in the serving vessel.

The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) had then attacked over 300 stalls selling pani-puris and even launched a protest.
