Kishenji's killing will not solve Maoist problem: West Bengal Governor

The killing of top Maoist leader Kishenji in West Midnapore district was a setback for the extremists, but it would not solve the problem, West Bengal Governor MK Narayanan said today."It is a big setback to the Maoists, but killing one leader will not solve the Maoist movement," the governor told reporters on the sidelines of a programme here.Narayanan, a former national security adviser, however, did not give any suggestion for a solution to the Maoist problem and it was his first reaction to the killing of Kishenji in an encounter with the joined forces at Burisole forest on November 24.
