An alleged member of the militant outfit Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF) was arrested in Raipur today, police said.

On the basis of information provided by Punjab police, Nirmal Singh alias Nimma was arrested from Fokatpura locality under Devendranagar police station, Superintendent of Police Om Prakash Pal told reporters in Raipur.

Singh was arrested from a house in Fokatpura, Pal said, adding he was handed over to Punjab police.

Singh was earlier a member of the Khalistan Commando Force and is nowadays in touch with KZF's Neeta Group, the SP said.

According to Pal, Singh came to India from Greece in February and was missing from Punjab since February 28.

As per the information received by Raipur police, Singh arrived in Chhattisgarh four days ago, he said.
