Sharpening his attack against BJP, Congress leader AK Antony on Sunday said that the saffron party would not open its account in the state in May 16 Assembly polls even with the 'campaign hype' due to presence of RSS.

Addressing media as a run up to his campaign launch here, he said this was the first time that RSS has come out in the forefront of BJP's electioneering in "full swing". "There is a campaign hype due to the presence of RSS, but BJP is not going to open account with that," Antony said.

Admitting that a fierce battle is on between ruling UDF and opposition LDF in most of the constituencies, he said BJP's move was to "disintegrate" secular votes. The main agenda before Congress and UDF was to ensure a "BJP-free" state assembly, Antony said.
