BJP activist hacked to death in Kerala's Kannur two days after CPI(M) worker's killing
Two days after a CPI(M) worker was killed, a BJP activist was hacked to death in Kannur district of Kerala, on Wednesday.
According to Manorama News, the victim was attacked by a group near a petrol pump in Pinarayi town around 10.30 am, and suffered severe injuries on his neck and head.
The report said Remit was rushed to the General Hospital in Thalassery, but was declared dead on arrival.
The BJP has alleged the role of the CPI(M) in the killing of its activist.
On Monday, CPI(M) worker was killed by six people at Pathiriyad in Kannur district. The deceased, Mohanan, a toddy shop worker, was the CPI(M)'s Paduvilayi local committee member.
CPI(M) had alleged that BJP workers were behind the attack and have called for a hartal tomorrow in Kannur district.
