A temple priest and two others in Malur taluk in Karnataka were arrested on charges of organising a 'strip dance' on account of the temple's 10th anniversary.

According to a report in The Times of India, the priest Sriramappa, and his accomplices Thimmarayappa and Shivakumar were arrested. Sriramappa had reportedly organised various programmes on the occasion of temple's 10th anniversary.

One of the performances was an orchestra troupe from Bangarpet, and to the shock of the audience, a few women started stripping and dancing on the stage, reports The Times of India.

The trio was later released on bail.
