Kapil Sibal denied news reports that quoted him as saying that controversial statements of environment minister Jairam Ramesh on China had put the government in an "embarrassing" situation.
Union HRD minister Kapil Sibal today denied news reports that quoted him as saying that controversial statements of environment minister Jairam Ramesh on China had put the government in an "embarrassing" situation.Sibal said here that he had gone to Ludhiana yesterday to attend a social function and had not talked to any media persons."I am surprised to see media reports that I had spoken about my ministerial colleagues. These reports are without any basis," he said.
