Former Uttar Pradesh chief minister and leader of Jan Kranti Party Kalyan Singh has said his party would contest the upcoming state assembly elections on its own and ruled out an alliance or merger with BJP.Singh claimed that the BJP had lost the confidence of the people in the state.He said his party has already released the first list of candidates while the next list would be released in October.Elections for the Utter Pradesh legislature are scheduled to be held early next year.
