Andhra Pradesh chief minister K Rosaiah would make a comprehensive presentation to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on all the initiatives taken by the government for achieving rapid economic growth in the state during the latter's one-day visit to Tirupati."Rosaiah would discuss with the prime minister the three-pronged approach of the state government in boosting theeconomic and industrial development, generating massive employment and ensuring a balanced inclusive growth in the state," a release from the chief minister's office said today.Rosaiah had a brief meeting with chief secretary SV Prasad and top officials on the development issues and the matter of pending projects to be taken up with the prime minister, the release said.Rosaiah would also explain to the prime minister the steps taken to plug the loopholes in the delivery system of welfare and development programmes and also to bring in financial discipline in the state administration, it said.The prime minister would arrive at Tirupati on September 1 to lay the foundation stone for the NTPC-BHEL joint venture project for power plant equipment manufacturing at Mannavaram village near Tirupati.The plant will be the largest public sector project in the state after the Vizag Steel Plant was set up in 1979.
