Marxist veteran Jyoti Basu was responding to treatment with his pneumonic infection under control 'to some extent' though he was still being given oxygen at times, doctors attending on him said today.    Basu's lung infection was, to some extent, under control "and clinically and radiologically, his condition has improved," the doctors said.     "His condition continues to be stable but oxygen is being used at times," they said.    The 95-year-old former West Bengal chief minister was still on a liquid diet.    It was yet to be decided if Basu would stay two or three days or more in the ICU, they said.    Basu was admitted to the AMRI hospital on Friday with 'moderately severe pneumonia'.
