Hitting out at the ruling National Conference in Jammu and Kashmir, the opposition PDP Tuesday said the state is unsafe in the hands of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah."Jammu and Kashmir is unsafe in the hands of Omar...he lacks basic qualities of leadership," PDP leader Tariq Hamid Qarra told a public meeting in Kotranka, 190 km from Jammu. He alleged NC lacks any originality or vision and Omar was trying to project the PDP agendas as his own.Qarra said during the last three years, the NC government has done nothing to mitigate woes of people. The only noticeable achievement of this regime is legalisation of corruption and the government has failed to bring transparency and accountability in the governance.
