Welcoming separatist leader Mohammad Yasin Malik's stand on safeguarding the tourism industry in the Valley, Jammu and Kashmir government today said promoting tourism is the best guarantee for the state’s prosperity.     "Malik has rightly said Kashmir has a rich tradition and culture of hospitality and that Kashmir is a perfect place for travellers to enjoy their holidays," tourism minister Nawang Rigzin Jora said in a statement here.     He hailed the remarks of Malik that, "we can assure each and every guest of ours that we will do everything to safeguard them."     The tourism minister expressed the hope that improvement in security scenario in the state, particularly in the Valley, would give big boost to tourism industry which is expected to witness big boom this season.     Jora said government is making efforts to clear all misconceptions about the security scenario in the state and that Jammu and Kashmir is as safe for tourists as any other part of the country or world.
