PTI reports that 5 Hizbul Mijahideen militants are holed up in a house

Initially, Intel sources told DNA that two militants are trapped in Tral. While it was believed that Sabzar Ahmed, one of the senior most militants of Hizbul Mujahideen, might be one of the two, new inputs suggest otherwise. Among the trapped millitants, one is Kashmiri and the other from Pakistan.

One of the militants is Aqib of Hina village, reports ANI. Aqib is reportedly holed-up along with two more terrorists. Attempts are underway to smoke out the terrorists.

According to ANI, an incident of weapon snatching from a CRPF jawan has also taken place here.
