Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday said he will discuss with his cabinet colleagues the possibility of providing some relief to the consumers following the recent hike in petrol prices.

"The cabinet is meeting tomorrow at Karnah (near LoC). I will place this before the cabinet and discuss it with the Finance minister", Omar told reporters here, 27 kms from Srinagar.

The Chief Minister was responding to a question if his government was planning to provide some relief from high petrol prices on the pattern adopted by the Delhi Government.

Following the recent hike, petrol is sold at Rs 78 per litre in Kashmir.
