A city-based jeweller was found dead in a dry rivulet between Vesu and Dumas Resorts on early hours of Friday morning. The jeweller had gone to recover dues, but went missing. Family members suspect the work of an insider, while the police is still clueless.

According to information, Dinesh Nedath, 36, a resident of Subhash gali in Gopipura and jewellery shop owner was found dead and stained in blood on a dry rivulet near Vesu, by local people. Nedath had injury marks all over his body, which made by a sharp weapon or knife. Cops rushed to the spot after learning about the incident and his body has been sent for postmortem. Family members, who reached New Civil Hospital after getting informed by the police, said that Nedath left his shop at 10:45pm on Thursday night.

Before leaving, he informed them of going towards VNSGU and Vesu for recovery of his dues.

Police said that there were more than 25 injury marks all over Nedath's body, which led to his death.
