Jayalalithaa calls for meeting with AIADMK MLAs on May 22
In wake of her acquittal, her counsel B. Kumar had stated that she can now become chief minister again.
Amid speculations of making a comeback as Tamil Nadu chief minister, AIADMK supremo Jayalalithaa has called for a meeting of party legislators on May 22 in Chennai.Jayalalithaa was earlier this week acquitted by the Karnataka High Court in a disproportionate assets case.All the other accused in the case have also been acquitted on the basis of an appeal by the latter.In wake of her acquittal, her counsel B. Kumar had stated that she can now become chief minister again.
