Jawan's wife, daughter die of burns in Orissa

The wife and daughter of a CRPF jawan died of critical burn injuries last night, about a week after being admitted at the Ispat General Hospital (IGH) in Rourkela.Police said Kumudini, 35, wife of jawan Minaketan Barla, was serving dinner to her family on April 21 night during power cut when the oil lamp burst.The woman and her 13-year old daughter Monalisa suffered serious burn wounds and taken to IGH. Barla, who had recently been transferred from New Delhi, rented a shelter at a slum colony near Gole Ghar.
