Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihoko Noda has accepted Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's invite to visit the state on his next India tour.
Talking to reporters on his arrival from New Delhi where he called on Noda at hotel, Kumar said, "Noda has accepted my invitation. He has assured me of visiting Bihar whenever he comes on a visit to India in future," he said.
Kumar said he also attended the feast hosted by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in honour of Noda in Delhi and described his talks with the Japanese premier as "fruitful and positive".
"In fact, Noda has keen interest in Bihar and knows about everything taking place," Kumar said adding he apprised Noda of the development works being executed here.
Noda assured him of Japan making available all-possible help to the state for infrastructure and logistic for reaching the agriculture products from here to markets and for food processing.
"We also want help from Japan for connecting every village with population of 250," the chief minister said.
Besides, several projects were also discussed by the Centre for development of the Buddhist circuit in Bihar.
