Two petrol bombs were hurled at the residence of Jammu and Kashmir education minister Naeem Akthar at Parrypora Srinagar last night.
Police sources said one of the bombs exploded causing minor damages to the house. Another bomb did not explode. No one has been hurt in the attack
Akthar was not present at the house when the attack took place. Education Minister is putting up at his official residence at Gupkar which has high security.

This is second time in last one week when Akthar was attacked. Few days ago his cavalcade was stoned when he was returning from chairing a security review meeting at Sumbal in north Kashmir
Repeated attempts to call Akthar failed as he had switched off his phone.
A petrol bomb was also hurled at the office of Road and Buildings department at SDA colony in Bemina area of the city last night, the official said.
