J&K: Two LeT terrorist killed in Pulwama, encounter underway between security forces & militant

Two Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist were killed in an encounter between militants and security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama, on Thursday.

A civilian was also killed during the encounter.

An encounter is underway between militants and security forces in Padgampora area of Pulwama district.

Security forces suspect presence of more than one militants.

The army and special operation group of Jammu and Kashmir's Awantipora has cordoned off the area.

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) said that one of the slain terrorists was identified as LeT's Mohammad Shafi Shergujari.

Meanwhile, authorities have suspend train services from Banihal to Srinagar as one of the railway stations is near the Pulwama encounter site.
