The massive fire that broke out in Nowshera Block in Rajauri district of Jammu and Kashmir is under control after Indian Army helped the forest department to save the flora and fauna and animals. The Indian Army participated in the fire fighting operation after the fire continued to rage in the area.

The Indian Army, J&K Police and forest department and civilians have been controlling this massive forest fire, which has destroyed a large forest area. Forest Conservator Sameer Bharti told ANI, ?Our department and the Indian Army are working over the night to douse the fire. Even the locals came for help. All are working really hard to douse the fire.
