Residents of Devchand Nagar in Bhayandar were shocked on Thursday evening when the trustee of the local jain mandir and property dealer Raju Shah was found murdered in his office.
According to locals, Raju Shah (55), resident of Devchand Nagar was property dealer and trustee of Bhatewa Parshwanath jain temple. His body was found in pool of blood deep stab markings on his hands and throat in his office.
Interestingly, his office is situated on busy market road but nobody heard his screams or did not see the murderers.
Speaking to DNA Sangramsingh Nishandar, Additional superintendent of police (Thane rural) said that, his body was found around six pm in his office which is located on a busy road. Its strange that, no one got the wind of his murder. We are verifying all the angles and possible motives behind this murder. We have registered a case of murder and have launched manhunt for unidentified murderers.
