IRCTC has given information about this offer of Tejas Express on its official Twitter handle.
Tejas Express has started Lucky Draw Scheme for its passengers. The scheme will stay in place from August 27 to September 6 and passengers will receive a gift if they are lucky. Notably, Tejas Express is the first private train in the country to be operated by IRCTC. This train keeps on bringing various offers from time to time to woo its passengers.

IRCTC has also made arrangements that if the ticket is booked by someone else, due to which IRCTC does not have the information about your birthday, the passenger can give the information to the Tejas Express staff at the station, as the cake is to be arranged in advance.
There is a special way of selecting the prize-winning passengers in the Lucky Draw Scheme. Every day, 13 passengers are being gifted by Tejas Express. When the scheme first started on August 27, some passengers were surprised to get the gift. Gifts are being distributed every day to 10 passengers travelling in chair car and 3 passengers travelling in executive class. This process will continue till September 6.
The gift is being given on the basis of the PNR number of the passengers of Tejas Express running between Lucknow and New Delhi. Among the tickets made online, the IT team of IRCTC will choose the names of 13 people in the lucky draw, after which those people will be given a gift by the Railways. Tejas Express is quite different from other trains in terms of modern facilities. This is the reason why its fare is also very high.
