The Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) will provide funds for the construction of an international-class stadium here.

Giving this information at a meeting of the managing committee of the Bhopal Divisional Cricket Association (BDCA) last evening, its president and MLA Dhruv Narayan Singh said the cricket stadium would be run by the BDCA.

BDCA chairman Arif Aqueel, MLA, and 22 members were present at the meet.

The managing committee also decided to end the five-year ban imposed on player Virendra Vaidya about six months back.

It was decided at the meeting that the work of registering all clubs would be completed this year itself.
