Inter-state gang of autolifters busted in Rajasthan

Police today claimed to have busted an inter-state gang of autolifters by arresting four persons and recovering 16 motorbikes stolen from Jaipur and Swaimadhopur in Rajasthan.

    
The four arrested yesterday were identified as Rajesh Keer from Swaimadhopur, Sabir alias Banti, Ramaavtar and Shannu (all three from Sheopur, Madhya Pradesh), station house officer Kunahadi police station Vradhichand Gurjar said.

    
Police said during interrogation they admitted to have stolen many bikes and hidden 16 of them at a house.

    
Based on their information, the vehicles were later recovered.

    
Gurjar said one person, Bhadur Meena of Bharatpur was heading this inter-state gang.

    
The four would be produced before the court today, the SHO said.
