An insurgent of United National Liberation Front (UNLF) was today arrested from Salungfam area in Thoubal district of Manipur, police sources said.
 
N Surjit (27) was nabbed by personnel of 15th Assam Rifles Battalion during a combing operation at Salungfam area, about 35 km south-east of here today.
 
Surjit has been handed over to nearby Thoubal police station, sources added.
