IndiGo launches 'Tough Cookie' campaign to thank medical frontline warriors, offers 25% discount for doctors and nurses

IndiGo on Wednesday launched the ‘Tough Cookie’ campaign to thank the frontline warriors battling the deadly COVID-19 virus.

As part of the campaign, IndiGo will provide up to 25% 'Tough Cookie' discount on the airfares to the nurses and doctors who have serviced in these challenging times. 

Moreover, a complimentary cookie tin at check-in, welcome announcement at the boarding gate, special Tough Cookie sticker on the PPE will be given to them on board the flight. 

Onboard the flight, a warm welcome will be extended to the frontline warriors, thanking them for their courageous work.

In order to avail these facilities, nurses and doctors will be required to provide valid hospital IDs at the time of check-in as proof of their identity.

Discount will be offered while booking through IndiGo’s website, valid for sale and travel from July 01, 2020, till December 31, 2020.

COVID-19 pandemic has swept across the world and doctors, along with other frontline warriors are relentlessly serving the nation to contain the spread of the virus.

This year, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, it has been particularly hard on medical professionals. The hard work and dedication of the doctors since the start of the pandemic has been praiseworthy. 

On July 1, the country observed  Doctor's Day to honour the contribution of the doctors.
