All the fishermen crossed over to Pakistan on the basis of Emergency Travel Certificate issued from the Delhi-based Pakistani high commission.

They were handed over to Pakistani Rangers at Joint Check Post at Attari/Wagah border by BSF, officials here said.

Elated on the prospect of going back to their country, the fishermen said that their boats had drifted to Indian territorial water during fishing in the Arabian sea due to immense water flow and winds after which they were held for illegal fishing on Indian side.
