NEW DELHI: India on Monday handed over to Pakistan’s acting high commissioner Afrasiab a letter written by Mohammad Ajmal Amir, the sole terrorist to be captured alive during last month’s attack on Mumbai.

In the letter addressed to the high commission, Ajmal has said he and the nine others who went with him on the mission were all Pakistani citizens and sought to meet Pakistani diplomats.

High commission spokesman Abid Saeed confirmed that the letter had been received and was being ‘examined’.
