INDIA alliance meeting: Logo, panels on agenda; full list of 62 leaders from 26 opposition parties attending the event

During a two-day conclave in Mumbai, leaders of the opposition INDIA bloc are expected to announce the formation of a coordination committee and reveal the alliance's logo. 

The leaders of the alliance will also announce a few panels to develop a shared minimum program for the alliance, to frame collaborative preparations for organizing agitations around the country, and to discuss seat sharing at the conclave, which is to be scheduled to be held on August 31 and September 1.

A two-day meeting of the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) will bring together 62 leaders from around 26 opposition parties. They are bracing for difficult negotiations that will test their unity in what is expected to be the group's first attempt to move beyond symbolism to resolve difficult fundamental issues of leadership and political strategy. The question of having a coordinator or chairperson to lead the alliance will also be discussed by the members.
