The 10th edition of the Urban Mobility India (UMI) Conference-cum-exhibition will start here from November 4.

Over 1,500 delegates from various parts of the country and different organisations across the world will participate in the three-day conference with the theme 'Intelligent, Inclusive and Sustainable mobility,' an official release said.

The annual event is being organised under the aegis of Centre's Ministry of Urban Development in partnership with Telangana government.

An exhibition showcasing different facets of urban mobility and the latest technology options will be displayed on the occasion, it added.

The conference will help in capacity building of large number of state, city officials, mayors and chairpersons of Urban Local Bodies in the state and will provide opportunities for the state and city officials to interact and hear various national and international experts covering the entire gamut of urban transport, said the release.

It will usher in the promotion of best practises in public transport in the state and also ensure exposure to latest technologies and software in urban transport. It will also enhance business promotion opportunities for government and private sectors, it added.
