Modi is expected to visit the Valley and address a rally here on November 7. The spokesman said the march would not affect the Prime Minister's proposed rally in any way and people wanting to participate in his rally will not be stopped. The march would be "peaceful and disciplined...there wouldn't be any law and order problem and nor will it disrupt the traffic," he said.

He hoped that about a million people will take part in the march expected to be addressed by several top separatist leaders. The Hurriyat said it would inform the state administration and send a written letter to the Deputy Commissioner of Srinagar with regard to the rally.
