Humid weather in Bihar; Met forecasts rains tomorrow

prevailed across Bihar today.

Gaya recorded the highest maximum temperature at 37.1

degree Celsius followed by 37.0 degree C in Bhagalpur, 36.4

degree C in Patna and 35.5 degree C in Purnea, the Met

department said.

The absence of rain coupled with high level of

humidity made life difficult for the people of the state.

Patna recorded humidity level of 55 per cent in the

morning and 59 per cent in the evening whereas Gaya's humidity

was 66 per cent in the morning and 50 per cent in the evening.

Bhagalpur and Purnea's humidity level hovered between

74 to 77 per cent both in morning and evening, the weathermen

said.

In its forecast, Met department said that four major

cities of Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea may witness partly

cloudy sky with possibility of rain or thundershower tomorrow.

Light to moderate rainfall occurred at a few places of

north east and north west parts of the state yesterday.
