Hot and humid conditions continued in the national capital today with mercury touching 42 degree Celsius, two notches above normal for this time of the year.
    
The maximum temperature rose by one degree from yesterday's 41 degrees, while minimum was recorded at 28.4 degree Celsius, which is one degree below normal, Met officials said.
    
The humidity oscillated between 64 and 21%.
    
The weatherman has predicted a clear sky and said the maximum and minimum temperature is expected to be 43 degrees and 27 degree Celsius respectively.
