Delhi Metro trains were reportedly not halting at Patel Nagar Metro station on Sunday night following a bomb threat at the station.

Speaking to ANI, Metro Public Relations Officer Anuj Dayal said that they had "received a bomb threat call and a search operation was launched after that. Entry and exit to Patel Nagar metro station was closed for sometime."

Central Industrial Security Force PRO Hemendra Singh said search operation was conducted at Patel Nagar Metro Station after which it was found to be a hoax. 

According to ANI, the bomb threat call was made to the metro control room at 7.30 pm on Sunday night and the person who made the hoax call has been traced. The station premises was given a clearance at 8.30 pm. 

Metro services have now resumed at Patel Nagar Metro Station.
