A Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist was today sentenced to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment by a fast track court in Ghaziabad for attempting to carry out explosions in the city.Additional district and sessions Judge Mukesh Singhal while handing out the sentence to Fayaz called him as a "threat to society".The 21-year-old was arrested on August 12, 2008 by UP anti-terrorist cell near Ghaziabad city railway station with explosives and firearms.The prosecution said the Srinagar-resident was also wanted in various blast cases in Kashmir.Delivering the judgment, the judge said that he was awarding the ten-year jail term with the hope that the youth would reform in future.
