Hisar hottest in Punjab and Haryana at 43.7 degree celsius
In Punjab, Patiala saw the high settle at 41.5 degrees and Ludhiana experienced a maximum temperature of 40.2 degrees, while daytime temperature in Amritsar stood at 40.3 degrees.
The summer heat continued to prevail in Punjab and Haryana today, with Hisar being the hottest place in both the states at a high of 43.7 degree celsius. Karnal in Haryana also had a hot day at 40 degrees while it was 41.4 degrees in Bhiwani, the Met office said. Ambala registered a high of 39.1 degrees and the maximum temperature in Chandigarh was recorded at 39.6 degrees. In Punjab, Patiala saw the high settle at 41.5 degrees and Ludhiana experienced a maximum temperature of 40.2 degrees, while daytime temperature in Amritsar stood at 40.3 degrees.
