Gujarat has seen many visionaries, freedom fighters, revolutionaries. Gujarat is the land of Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, who changed the direction of India for good and the betterment of its people. Himanshu Hirpara (Twitter: @himanshuhirpara) takes inspiration from the revolutionary soil of Gujarat and wants to imbibe the values given to him by the virtue of being born here in his daily life. Himanshu is a social worker who believes in creating an equal and just world for everyone. He knows that he alone cannot do it, but with the help of a strong community, he knows we can bring about a lasting change.

In 2016 he completed his BBA degree from Rudra College of BBA but instead of becoming another corporate slave, he decided to chart his path and devote his life to bettering society and bringing about a positive change.

Himanshu is a graphic designer by profession, and social work is something he is passionate about. He believes that his purpose in life is to help people and bring about their betterment. he is also passionate about politics. He is the founder of an agency named Greenleaf Communication that designs, campaigns for political candidates and political parties. He has been roped up by many political parties and politicians to help them with their campaign designing work. His recent gig was during the Gujarat Municipal Elections where he designed campaigns for political stalwarts.

Himanshu is currently the National Social Media Convener of the Unity of Youngistan Foundation, and his job is to spread awareness about various social issues among the youth of India. During the lockdown period when thousands of migrant workers were on roads, Himanshu, along with his Unity Of Youngistan Foundation team, distributed food among them.

They distributed more than 500 packets of food delay all through the lockdown period. Now, during winters, when the poor and homeless people bear the brunt of it the most, he and his team are out on the roads distributing blankets. The lockdown period was one of the worst crisis India had ever seen, and Himanshu and his team helped the migrant workers when they needed help the most.

Himanshu feels strongly for the poor and underprivileged section of our society and believes that those who have been given less by God should be given more by law, and hence he does his best to bridge that gap.

India is extremely lucky to have youngsters like Himanshu who are toiling day and night to solve the problems of society.
