Heavy rains lashed Delhi for the second consecutive day today bringing the mercury down, even as the weatherman forecast more showers for tomorrow.Overnight rains brought the maximum temperature to 29.6 degree Celsius, while the minimum was recorded at 24 degree Celsius, three degrees below normal.The city has recorded 62.7 mm of rains in the last 24 hours ending 8.30 AM today, the Met office said.So far, the city has received a total 304.9 mm of rains after the monsoon reached the capital on July 5.The Met office has forecast a cloudy sky with a few spells of rains in many areas and heavy rains in some areas tomorrow.Today being a Sunday, the rains did not cause traffic snarls as most of the people kept indoors.
