Heavy rains expected in Patna and Muzaffarpur ahead of PM Modi's visit
Narendra Modi's plans to visit Varanasi were cancelled twice due to heavy rainfall. There are chances of light to moderate rainfall in Patna and Muzaffarpur too.
After rains forced PM Narendra Modi to cancel his rally twice in Varanasi recently, rain may also play spoilsport during his visit to Bihar tomorrow.
Weather reports predict light to moderate showers in Patna and Muzaffarpur on Saturday.
The first halt in Modi's itinerary will be the capital of Bihar, Patna, where Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR) foundation day will be celebrated and the Prime Minister is to release 'Vision 2050' for Indian agriculture.
Chief Guest PM Modi is supposed to inaugurate three new projects under 'Vision 2050': Farmers First, Arya and Mera Gaon Mera Gaurav. This will be the first time in the history of IACR that it's foundation day will be celebrated outside New Delhi.
After the program concludes in Patna, Modi is expected to take a helicopter and fly to Muzaffarpur to address a public gathering.
